About Me

Most of the time I'm straight up, other times I'm a silly, laid back, pretty chill person. I love learning more and more about life. My life is EXCITING!! and I'm discovering how to balance everything in it out.I love it when people give me advice. Usually I can find out what a person is all about in the first couple minutes I meet them. I would never change my past for anyone and I would never regret it. Things happen for a reason! I'm going to be a successful person and always overcome any problems or challenges that come my way. I'm tired of hiding and being scared to take a risk. I'm going to take my chances and have some funn! The only times i write blogs,is eighter i was going threw something. Or just need to get something outt!!

will be in iraq visiting our troops. :)

So i was a little upset earlier that my manager, cancelled my flight to Italy. I was looking forward to seeing my family there, guess there's always next year. But when i found out we were going to Iraq, i was very excited i get to see a few of my old friends. I lost alot of friends in the war, people i truely loved and cared for. I *care about* the troops and that means I want them home. I don't support this war. I don't support this war. I don't understand why it has gone on so long or why it even started in the first place. Personally I believe North Korea is the place that needs the most attention, but that's just my opinion. I do support the soldiers. They chose to enroll so they must have known what they were getting themselves into, what they must sacrifice to protect their country and countrymen. I thank them for it! I'm sure some of them are against the war but they still go and do their jobs, their duty. I am very grateful to them. Every one of them. They miss their families, their friends and their homes but they continue on. They put their lives on the line for us. All I can say is, thank you so very much. I get angry thinking about the war but never when I think of the soldiers. I'm going on this trip to show support to our troops, and also to tell them how much we love and appreciate their hardwork. God bless them all!! And keep their loved ones safe!!

i almost cried when i read this. thank you so much. it's so nice for us family members to know people appreciate their men's sacrifices, and value them, instead of tearing them down.

I agree with you mostly, except for the Korea part. I think that's the last place we need to be. What we need to do is bring home ALL of our troops, stay out of everyone else's business and work on OUR country and government, and leave the peace-keeping to the people that are there to do it, the UN.

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND BRING THEM HOME SAFELY! I DON'T KNOW OF ANYONE PERSONALLY THAT IS IN WAR RIGHT NOW. WHAT DOES FIGHTING SOLVE? THAT'S WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE WORLD TODAY, EVERYONE IS FIGHTING WITH SOMEONE.

I personally would sit in jail before I would fight a war I was completely against.

And I don't think any war is just. The only time it's acceptable to fight, in my opinion, is when you're fighting back.

troops may not have chosen to fight this war, but they chose to fight a war.i just cant comprehend why you would choose a job/whatever you want to call it, that calls for you to murder. grant there is the appeal of the army, the whole brotherhood, the discipline, the purpose, the defending your country, but ultimately you are going to kill and potentially be killed. why would you chose that?
if no body made that choice we wouldnt have wars.... if there were no soilders governemnts couldnt start wars on each other... a niave, black and white view i know, but if we had no troops what would have happened with iraq? nothing, because we wouldnt have invaded them in the first place. just like so many other countries.
look at costa rica, it has no army, it was constitutionally abolished, they havent been invaded yet

@jesse
Do you have children or a husband at home? Because what good are they going to do in a jail cell, that would ruin their careers and having an dishonorable discharge on their record, could ruin their chances of getting a "citizens job". They would be in jail and possibly prison, making no money, seeing no family, dishonored and known as someone who refused to fight for his country.

Some people enlisted in the military, to get a chance at an education, or a chance to be able to take care of family. Or to follow family tradition. (As in mine) They don't know when or if a war is gonna come or what they will be fighting for. They just go in hoping to get the best out of it and promising to defend us if they have to. Many do not believe in the cause of the war, but believe in the promise to fight for their country.
